Residential Building

Urban Pixels is a residential project of luxury apartments located in the heart of Guatemala City. The project consists of several housing modules or “pixels”, stacked between each other to generate versatile spaces, terraces, enhance the views and provide solar protection. In a city so dependent on the car, the project’s loca-tion is on a walking distance of some of the city’s main spots, promoting a new urban lifestyle to its users. The graduation project has two objectives: the first one was to propose a building that could adapt to the local real estate market so we had to make an economic proposal and analysis of our building to prove it was profitable. Secondly, we had to generate the building documents of the proposal, so we had to resolve the structural, plumbing, electrical, lighting and specialty equipment’s in detail with the assessment of engineers.
